Day 3 of the Give and Take… a photo share.

The rules are simple: have an imagination and the photo must be from that day. Join in and share when you want!

A new friend and brilliant brand strategist, Lina, sent this from her home in Lithuania 🌏

“Corona home and no tv turns kids to National Geographic journal!”

Stacey and her husband (and Ollie!) sent some love from Lake Michigan ☮️

Fresh air. Peace and calm from Michigan.

Tim is visiting family in Indy who, it appears, I should call for advice on how to not kill house plants 🙌🏻 #thriving

“Glory”

I look out at this willow tree, every day, from my office window

Today, my grandpa was on my heart so I had to photograph it when walked around the pond. It often reminds me of my grandpa who took me to feed ducks in the park when I was young. He was a tall, strong Navy man who put me in the bike seat behind him and we’d ride to the park. Neither of us said much (most people who know me now find that hard to believe, but he was a man of few words). We fed the ducks and when I felt it was time to go, I’d tap on his shoulder and he’d take me home. The memories are like photos in my mind. I remember my grandpas shoulders… and I remember the willow tree in the park, hanging so long the branches brushed the ground. In mythology and literature the willow tree stands as a symbol of grief and healing. Its drooping shape is reminiscent of a grieving human but it’s regenerative properties are associated with everlasting life. Since the day he passed I have believed my grandfather is my angel. Sometimes I swear I can still feel him kiss me on top of the head and even though he didn’t say much, he always told me he was proud of me.

Send me your Friday photos (and a caption or website if you wish) and I’ll add them to this post or share your photos tomorrow!

Message me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or LinkedIn… or you can text or email it to me if you have my contact information.

Thanks for sharing your imagination with me!
