When I started this little “project” a week ago it was mainly just for me. A way to get outta my head. A way to get unstuck, to call on my muse and let her know I’m still open to creative ideas, if she’ll have me.

I thought it would be nice to invite people in, but I resolved to keep this project free from expectations. I just want to be open, imagine, put in the work and then let it be.

So many of you chose to join me in this little imagination adventure and are making this such a delight!

Pure creativity is something better than a necessity; it’s a gift. It’s the frosting. Our creativity is a wild and unexpected bonus from the universe. It’s as if all our gods and angels gathered together and said, “It’s tough down there as a human being, we know. Here — have some delights.”

So here, are our day 7 delights…

From my home state ✋ Christy sent this after her walk. Her imagination is magical (read her delightful caption below)

Felt like this tree was walking all fancy and then froze when it heard me 😁

The third in a series from Rosanne 🐛 (see day 1 here)

Perfection!

A glimpse into the ever curious mind of Russell, and the current state of our living room 😉 🤘🏻

Birthday Project 2020: Janszen Z-824 Electrostatic Hybrids. Each enclosure has eight electrostatic screens and two 12" woofers crossed over at 800hz. Refurbishing requires refoam of all four woofers, polishing contacts, recap and updating of rectifiers, lots of measuring power supply voltages (spicy!), and refinishing the pecan veneer. The limited info out there claims these sound glorious, so we’ll see! Original foam grille covers are from around 1975.

Lina sent some stellar entertainment from Lithuania

Another photo for corona lockdown entertainment.. ;)

Tim is spreading joy and delight in Indy

The neighborhood kids left me a “sequel” on the sidewalk this evening! 😃 (Find yesterday’s post here)

I set my phone aside for most of my day, finding delight in being lost in the moment instead of losing myself in my phone (more on that thought later), but not before…

I thanked my muse for her creative prompts and perfect lighting for my coffee 💡💛

Will you share your photos too?
The rules are simple…

  • You don’t need fancy equipment, you only need an imagination (and a device that takes a picture).
  • You don’t need to edit your photo (or do, if that’s you jam and it brings you joy).
  • Your photo can be staged or random.
  • It must be something that inspired you, intrigued you, caught your eye, and made you feel something.
  • It must be from that day, but…
  • You do not need to share every day, just when you feel the desire or inspired.
  • You may request your picture is shared anonymously or you may request I link to your website or share part of your bio or a caption you wrote.
  • You may ask questions and pay others compliments. If you see a connection you want to make, let me know and I’ll do my best to help you network!

Send me the photo (and a caption or website if you wish) in a dm on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or LinkedIn… or you can text or email it to me if you have my contact information. I’ll add it to that day’s post and we can all… have some delights.
